Sons, daughters, and all relatives are just like a fleeting shadow;
Riches, wealth, palaces and mansions are all a false illusion.
All those who have come into this world shall depart on the appointed day;
Even the life-breaths which you consider as your own, belong to someone else (God).
The one who, after seeing God once, has sung His glory even for a moment;
Avtar says, such a person does not undergo the cycle of birth and death.

Meaning
Here , Baba Avtar Singh Ji says that the body, mind and wealth belongs to God. And all the materialistic things that man craves for, will leave him one day.
Relatives, friends and family will all leave like a shadow passing by. The money and the palaces that man boasts of is false and shall go one day. Every human will leave the world one day because life is given by God. And these life breaths don’t belong to man.
Hence, Baba Avtar Singh ji says that once man realises and sees God, he will become free from the cycle of life and death by attaining salvation.
